From 11.59pm tonight we will largely return to COVID Safe Summer rules:
- leave home for any reason
- schools re-open (tomorrow)
- restaurants, cafes, retail can re-open
- community facilities, entertainment venues, public places (with some crowd limits)
- back to work (50% in offices)
There will be some restrictions, just for now:
5 visitors to your home
20 people at public gatherings
limits on the number of visitors at hospitals and aged care homes (one household per day)
masks must be worn in all indoor settings (except at home) and outside where you can’t distance with 1.5m
