firstcall HEALTH holds various contracts with various clients and each clients requirements differ in relation to what they see as a current police check. As a firstcall HEALTH standard, we expect that all our staff have current police checks and signed and declared statutory declarations that are NOT older than twelve (12) months.
We understand that some facilities you may currently work for validate police checks up to three (3) years but as stated, the firstcall HEALTH standard is that your police check is updated every year due to the contractual obligations we have in place.
If you would like to update your police check we are able to process one for you. We process your police check through National Crime Check at a cost of $55 and you receive your check within 48 hours*. Once your police check comes back, we just note the reference number on our system and we email the original to you for your own records.
If your police check has expired or is going to expire, give us a call on 1300 984 400 and speak to one of our staff to organise a new one.
*Some police checks may take longer and this can be due to an influx of applications being processed by National Crime Check or if you have a common name.
