What this means for you

From 17th September all employees/subcontractors cannot enter any residential aged care facility unless the below requirements are met and have provided appropriate evidence.

  • received a full COVID-19 vaccination; or
  • received a partial COVID-19 vaccination and made a booking to receive a full COVID-19 vaccination by 15 November 2021; or
  • not received any doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and have made a booking to receive a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 1 October 2021; or
  • cannot receive a COVID-19 vaccine for the reason permitted in the exemptions

NOTE: These are temporary provisions only and will be in force until 30th September 2021, only.

  • a full COVID-19 vaccination of two doses; or
  • one COVID-19 vaccination dose and a booking for a second by 15 November 2021or
  • a medical exemption

Forms of appropriate evidence include:

  • An Immunisation History Statement
  • A Covid-19 digital statement

These can be obtained through the myGov account and Medicare online.

Please ensure you are checking the exposure sites regularly to ensure you are taking appropriate actions if you have attended an exposure site, or have been a close contact of any kind.
