We have noticed quite a few of our staff have not updated ALL mandatory checks. Can I remind you all that if you do not have a current Influenza Vaccination and have not provided us with a copy to evidence this we can not offer you any shifts. Should there be any issues with you being able to get in to have this done I suggest you contact the office ASAP and discuss this with our staff as this will effect you being offered any ongoing work from here on in. This is a mandatory compliance requirement every site requires and we are required to support this in it’s entirety. You may be asked to provide evidence of having done this whilst on shift as well.

The other mandatory checks we are noticing are lapsing quite a lot are police checks, WWCC and education competencies.  A statutory declaration only covers you for 30 days in the event you have applied for a police check and it is also a compliance requirement at the clients end. We have several clients which require monthly reporting on the staff we have sent them and should you fall in to this category of not having them updated we will unfortunately not be able to offer you any work.

It is also a requirement of the agency that these mandatory checks are followed up and are taken very seriously as it is a compliance issue for us to keep you registered with firstcall HEALTH should we see it not being taken seriously. If you have downloaded the new app then by now you would be able to see just by clicking on checks which checks we have no records for or are out of date. If you do not have details for the app as yet please feel free to contact the office and we can assist you in getting this up and running 1300984400 or email admin@firstcallhealth.com.au

This will be something that is going to be followed up very stringently so I do advise that if you have received a notification from us at all about any of these compliance requirements being updated then please get back to us ASAP or we will have no other choice other than to place you on hold.

If you have completed these through another organisation or through your current place or work or study that is completely fine however we do require copies of these in order to update these on file.

We hope you have been enjoying the pace as we have been super busy and it is great to see how many people are actually picking up shifts at the moment. It will only get busier so all the more reason to make sure we get everyone compliant and updated ASAP.

Have a great week everyone!
