Hello Everyone, we hope you are all safe and healthy and spending time with your loved ones during this very different Easter period for us all.
As I am sure you are all aware, things have quietened down a fair bit for agency and casual work across the board. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell each and everyone of you that we will get through this. We know it is difficult at the moment but this will pass and we will be stronger than ever. The volume of work at the moment has slowed down for a number of reasons. The cancellation of elective surgeries is one, a number of staff cancelling leave as they are unable to go anywhere and overall the regular staff are more available as this is an uncertain time.
We have made contact with every one of our clients and they have all assured us that when it does pick up which it will, they will be continuing to utilise firstcall health as their first point of contact. I understand this may worry some as it is a challenge for us all but I ask that you all remain as calm as possible and know that when we do have work coming through suitable for you, you will be contacted. This is not just us, this is across many other agencies and casual work arrangements. Many facilities and Health Care Services have advised they are also quiet at this time. We are continuing to recruit because we are certain that when things do pick up we are going to need each and every one of you as it will be busier than before COVID-19.
If you do need to drop something off or pick something up from the office can I ask that you call the office first, and if this can be arranged for you it will. The internal staff are using this time to ensure everyones files are up to date so you may be contacted should there be something that needs updating. Please also ensure you are passing on your information regarding Influenza Vaccination.
