Hi Everyone,

We hope you are all safe and well at the moment. I want to say a very big thank you to all the staff who have assisted in working additional shifts & hours at this very testing time. I know the facilities have appreciated all of your support thus far and will continue to be appreciative for some weeks to come as there is further support needed.  On behalf of us all at firstcall HEALTH, thank you.

I want to mention a few things today which are critical to us all at the moment and being able to continue to operate effectively and efficiently. As we have mentioned in previous posts already, if you are working elsewhere at the moment whether that be at your permanent work or through another agency it is critical that we know this information.  If you haven’t already done so, please email us with where you are working. It is not an issue at all but we do need to know as some sites have a restriction on staff having worked at another site or certain sites as well.  We are trying to accommodate everyone at the moment, clients and staff so it is important you share this information and we have it recorded on file.

We have sent some information regarding the Infection Control & PPE training.  If you have not already done so, can you please complete this ASAP. We understand it may take some time to complete it however it is imperative that you have completed this. If you have already completed a similar course or training module elsewhere that is also fine however can you please email that information to us ASAP so we are not following you up for this information any further.

On the topic of availability, can I ask that you at the very least advise us by Monday whether you are available for that week and if so what days/shifts.  We are finding that this is not happening and creating some angst when clients are calling particularly for ASAP requests on the day.  We understand that things can change from day to day or week to week and once again that is not an issue but we ask that if possible can you please respond advising whether you are available or not so we are not contacting you off roster unnecessarily.  If you are then placing your availability, it is critical that you respond to us advising if things change and you are no longer available if and when this occurs. You can do so the exact same way you have placed your availability with a note made.

I thought I might list for you the appropriate numbers/emails to make contact on certain queries you may have as follows:

Our main number 1300984400 is the number to contact for ALL general enquiries or should you wish to speak to anybody regarding any or all of the above.  To avoid any confusion regarding contacting mobiles we do prefer if you wish to speak to anyone that you only ever call that main number. Our email address admin@firstcallhealth.com.au can also be used for all general enquiries as well. This is set up as a group email therefore regardless of what shifts anybody is working, somebody will promptly return your email enquiry.
