Good Afternoon Everyone, we hope you are all well and keeping positive. It is getting busier with more shift requests coming in across all areas so please ensure you are placing your availability ASAP, either via the website, app or by texting 0458540101. We ask that you advise us either way, whether you are available or not as this allows us to not contact you off roster throughout the week.
If you are yet to send through your Influenza Vaccination details then your file is on hold and will be pending sending through this information. We understand there is a delay in some areas in receiving the vaccination however we do ask that as soon as you are able that you attend to this. It is a Government directive therefore it is out of our control. For those that do have the vaccination, please ensure you have evidence of your vaccination at every shift you attend as you may be asked to show evidence of this at any time. Your file may also be on hold if we do not have a current police check, stat dec or WWCC. We can assist with the processing of your police check so please contact us via email admin@firstcallhealth.com.au or you can phone the office and the staff will assist you with your request.
We know it has been a difficult time for you all and a very uncertain time. Some of you may have picked up work elsewhere and that is okay, we just ask that you let us know so we can update your file with this information. As predicted it is getting busier by the day which is great so please ensure you are getting back to us when being contacted for work or any other updates we require to keep your file as accurate as possible.
Our office is open however we have made some changes to how we operate to ensure we are adhering to appropriate infection control methods, appropriate hand hygiene and social distancing. Should you need to come in to the office we do still ask that you make an appointment or let the girls know you will be popping in to ensure somebody can appropriately assist you.
If you are regularly checking our website you will notice there is a dedicated page specifically to Coronavirus COVID-19. This page will regularly have links updated as the virus evolves and changes are announced. We are advising that you be very vigilant when on shift and ensure you are following protocol in place at each site. Please ensure if you are unwell that you stay home, do not accept shifts and do not go out. Regardless of how mild the symptoms, please follow the health advice.
We are in the process of updating our education page with details of all the mandatory as well as non mandatory courses available to you all. There is a small fee required for the non mandatory courses and if you would like additional information on this please email angela@firstcallhealth.com.au
Have a wonderful week everyone, please ensure you are updating your availability ASAP whether you are available or not and be safe, healthy and positive! We will all get through this together!
